About NetDads
NetDads is a practical toolkit for modern UK dads. We exist because fatherhood doesn't come with a manual — and the internet is full of parenting advice that doesn't speak to dads.
Why we started
When you become a dad, the support networks aren't always there. NCT groups often feel mum-focused. The mental health conversation rarely includes men. And when you search for "paternity leave UK" or "dad burnout", you get a wall of generic advice.
We wanted to build something different: a straightforward, no-nonsense resource that covers the stuff dads actually need to know.
What we cover
Mental Health
Dad burnout, postnatal depression in men, anxiety, and actually looking after yourself.
Tech
Honest reviews of baby monitors, family gadgets, and kid-safe tech.
Finance
Childcare costs, benefits, budgeting, and making your money work harder.
Flexible Working
Request templates, paternity rights, shared parental leave, and workplace tips.
Our approach
We keep it simple. No jargon, no fluff, no "10 ways to be a perfect dad" listicles. Just practical, well-researched content that helps you navigate fatherhood in the UK today.
Every article is written with real dads in mind — blokes who are probably reading this at 2am during a night feed, or on the train home from work wondering if they're doing it right. (You are, by the way.)
Get involved
NetDads is growing and we'd love to hear from you. Whether you want to suggest a topic, share your experience, or just say hello — get in touch.
