So, I’m trying to work and be a good dad simultaneously.

Any suggestions for activities at home that don’t need too much supervision?

We will be going to the cinema and Science Museum, but these obviously exclude working.

Mine spend far too much time on their tablets…

Today I gave them all the recycling boxes to go out, some masking tape and a pair of plastic scissors… The result after a good hour and a half was 2 fantastic rockets.

Dependant on age and interests but you can get a big box and lay it out flat. Then draw a race/train track together and then sit back while they continue to play and you get some work done. Good thing about this is you can do it together to start and add new bits when you use it again. Also encourages their creativity.

Off to Avon Valley country park today in Bristol. A Great place to check out the farm animals… They also have a great indoor play area to really knacker them out!
