    I find this a real problem.  I love all types of food and cooking most things from scratch.

    Kids on the other hand want food now, and the want it to recognisable to them. I would be easy to end up with McDonalds, then Spaghetti Bolognaise alternately. I fear this would make me very ill and food frustration would set in.

    Anybody have some good ideas of things kids like that are also bearable for dads?

    All suggestions will be tested and the results posted here.

    When i cook i tend to make too much so that i can freeze some for mini me that helps with the whole i need it now. Not always possible i know so i try and set a task/activity for Callum to do while im cooking as a distraction.
