A Day In This Dads Life
DADS RICH PAGEANT
Hi! I’m Conor. Dad to a daughter and a son, husband to Wendy. Wendy and I had our daughter in 2012 and it’s safe to say that nothing’s been quite the same since. Our son arrived last year, to add to the fun, and that’s us (for now!) – trying our best to survive.
At Dads Rich Pageant, I hope to write not just about the day-to-day bumps and scrapes encountered by my kids (not to mention Wendy and I) but also the bigger ideas that occur to me in rare moments of clarity. Mostly, I hope to share the immense love I feel for my kids – my pride in their every development, my hopes and dreams for their futures and my fears for them as they grow up all too fast.
I hope it proves helpful to expectant or new dads, or that more experienced dads find something to laugh, cry or reminisce about. And, above all, I look forward to hearing from you about your experiences.
Diary Of The Dad
So you want to know about us? What, really? Oh, ok… here goes. I’m Tom, a 30-something bloke who likes writing among other things that I used to have time for. The two main protagonists you’ll read about on Diary of the Dad are my sons, Dylan and Xander. Despite robbing us of sleep and slowly destroying our house on a daily basis, we – my wife/best friend, Kate, and I – think they’re awesome and this is why I write about them.
Dylan was born in 2010 and Diary of the Dad followed suit the same year once I had caught up a little on lost sleep and gathered my thoughts. Xander followed in 2012 and I was lucky enough to be able to announce his impending arrival when I somehow or other won the Best Baby Blog category at the 2011 MAD Blog Awards.
Every week, if I get the chance, I share my musings about parenthood and the things that Dylan and Xander get up to as they reach each exciting new stage. I’m sure they’ll grow up to find this embarrassing, so if you’re a best mate reading this 20 odd years into the future, you should find some good material for your best man’s speech somewhere on these pages.
For everyone else reading between now and then, I hope you enjoy reading the blog as much as the boys seem to enjoy inspiring it and as much as I enjoy writing it.

Mutterings Of A Fool
Well hello there, I suppose you’re wondering who the hell the fool is and why exactly he is clogging up the interwebs with his mutterings?
Well I’m a dad to 2 fabulous little monsters, one pink and one blue, with a second blue one due in October. I’m also husband to the lady of the manor and owner of the craziest English Springer Spaniel called Bracken. I’m one of those crazy runner types often found racing through some of England’s most stunning scenery on the coastal paths in the South West and blogging about it on The Running Dad.
I am a first time father in Northern Ireland. Decided to take Additional Paternity Leave to support my family and achieve a better work life balance as my daughter turns 6 months.I know its going to throw up many may novel experiences which is why I have started a blog.
One Man And His Sprog
This blog is the online home to the One Man and His Sprog family. The blog is written by me, Dan (ShireDad), a digital manager turned stay-at-home dad and husband to the wonderful ShireMum. Most important of all though is toddler Tilly, who changed our lives forever when she arrived in 2013.
The Dad Network
It’s the site dads are talking about. A gold mine of tips to help with the life changing experience of having a baby & being a dad. From a BAFTA Award-winning Director, to celebrities and dads across the globe, it’s getting the thumbs up…This is a hub and an online support system for dads like never before. The Dad Network is the online hub for expectant, new and old dads. It’s a place for dads to come together, demystify bringing up babies and getting to grips with everything they need to know – from what car seat to buy to how to change a nappy to how to get your baby to sleep! We’re not just all about the babies either… we know that dads like sports, so we created SportsDadHQ to talk about sports, fitness and keeping healthy. We also know that dads like gadgets, so we created GadgetDadHQ to talk about gadgets & gaming. This is the go to one stop spot for dads. The lifestyle website that dads have been waiting for.
It’s an honest, friendly and fun place for dads to share their experiences, be it birth stories, dressing their baby, keeping fit, comparing gadgets or winging about their partners. Some describe our network as “the online pub for dads.”
